I am in contact with Pat's sister, Karen. Karen told me the following: Pat passed away in 2000. She had been fighting Cushings Disease for about 10 years and she had been thru hell and back fighting the disease. She ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, and that time she never left. She was a fighter !! I miss her terribly, but I know she no longer is in pain.
